The contracts for next season is shaping up nicely and there is a few surprised as well.

Nicolai has signed a 1-year deal with Ostrow in the Polish 2nd league, as one of the riders to lead the team.
Ostrow is a club and town he knows very well as he spent a year with the club back in 2009 and has had his workshop there since 2013.

“First when Ostrow contacted me, I actually said no. But after speaking with people from the club, my view on things changed. They are very keen on promoting to 1st league, which I think would be cool to help them achieve. It’s a track I very much enjoy riding on and they have some very loud and supportive fans. I’m really looking forward to this new challenge!” said Nicolai.

It will also be a new club in Denmark for the team, as Nicolai was released from his contract early this week.
That meant he was in a rush to find a new club, but it didn’t take long.

His new club isn’t so new after all. In 2018 he will ride for Holsted Tigers in the Danish Superliga, a club he spent 6 years at before.

“The deal was sorted pretty easy. They were looking for a Danish rider in the b-grade and I was looking for a new club. Niels, Director of Holsted, was very easy to deal with and I’m really excited about the plans he has for the coming season. I’m sure it’ll be a great move for me personally!” said Nicolai.

We want to say thank you to Wanda Krakow and Esbjerg Motorsport for an enjoyable season and we wish them all the best in 2018.

What will happen in England is still pretty unclear as Poole, where Nicolai hopes to stay, is trying to build the best team possible. All pieces got to fit before we know whether Nicolai is in or out.
