PIRATES BEAT WOLVES AT HOME

PIRATES BEAT WOLVES AT HOME

Poole overcome an injury for their number one rider yesterday, as they welcomed Wolves.

Poole had their number one rider, Jack Holder injured in their first heat already. Furthermore Wolves were keen on making this a tough night for the Pirates.

It was not until around halfway through the meeting, that Poole managed to get a grip on the meeting and pull away. But in the end they did so, and ended up winning the meeting by 51-39. Nicolai had an almost perfect night, scoring 17 points in six rides.

“Another comeback from the Pirates, but this time it wasn’t as many points we had to claw back. Great team performance! Sometimes you have to be patient and I must admit I’ve had to be very patient this year. Finally I had a really good meeting in England where everything worked perfectly, more or less. Really happy with last night!”

Nicolai is back in Sweden today, where Lejonen are away against Masarna.
